Armando, Sara and Cri.by *Bagigi

Osmannoro neighborhood, suburbs of Florence.

At the end of the nineties in an abandoned neighborhood on the outskirts of Florence,
a group of young people from all over Europe occupied the abandoned buildings that became their home.
Some of them were young people that run away from their families, where they had been subjected to violence.
Other of them had simply chosen to live in community.
This alternative and autonomous community ended a few years later,
when the entire neighborhood was demolished and young people forcibly removed by the authorities.

With many of them I am still in touch... today Armando, the boy doing hitchhiking works as a chef in a popular restaurant in Florence.
Cri also works as a chef in his own restaurant in Prato and Sara is happily married and mother of a beautiful baby girl.
